Large amount of cash taken from Flynn’s Pub in Lackagh

On July 16, in the early hours of Sunday morning, Flynn’s pub in Lackagh was broken into between 2am and 3:30am.

Two tills were taken from the pub with a considerable amount of cash.

Anybody with information on this burglary is asked to contact Galway Garda Station, where Garda David Foley of the crime unit is investigating.

House in Kilmacnella, Irishtown near Milltown burgled

On the morning of Saturday, July 15, between 10:30am and 1:30pm a house in Kilmacnella, Irishtown near Milltown was broken into.

A rear window of the home was forced open a considerable amount of cash was stolen.

Anybody who saw anything unusual around the Irishtown area on Saturday morning or afternoon is asked to contact the gardaí in Milltown on 09351312.

Locked bikes taken around the city

On Monday July 17, a red and white diamond back, hybrid bike was taken from Crestwood GAA grounds.

Between Thursday July 13 and Sunday July 16, a white Carrera bicycle was taken from Eyre Square.

On Tuesday July 11, between 7pm and 7.50pm, a black Carrera mountain bike was taken from outside Dunnes in Terryland.

Between Thursday evening, July 13, and Sunday afternoon, July 15, a red and black VooDoo Azteca bicycle was taken from the Aengus House apartment complex on the long walk.
