The Sunrise Children’s Festival 2017 will take place on July 29 and 30 at Brigit’s Garden, Roscahill, Co. Galway. This very special weekend festival is entirely for children and their families and builds on last year’s highly successful event.
The festival features four tented entertainment areas, a dedicated campsite and artisan food village, all set in 11 acres of beautiful Celtic gardens and woodlands.

At the MainStage there will be live music by Ikarumba, DJ dancing show with Kidisco, comedy with Sid Bowfin, Paul Tylak and Kevin Kildea, original nursery rhymes with Kyle Riley plus many more.
At the Big Bubbles tent children can enjoy giant wooden games, an imagination playground, storytelling, puppeteers, magicians, face-painting, an animal show, or relax on the children’s hammocks.
Down to Earth Green Crafts will provide a natural creative space to explore and learn with all the amazing materials that nature provides. Children will have the opportunity to make wooden necklaces, wooden swords, and willow crowns.
Imaginosity Children’s Museum, usually located in Dublin, are teaming up with organisers for science, education and environmental area. This area will be aimed at 8 - 12yr olds and will also include a tag archery field game.
Free camping is included on Saturday night with optional camping on Friday night.
Families are welcome to enjoy fresh seasonal dishes, home baking and a special menu for our younger visitors at The Garden Café and bar. In addition, there will be an artisan food village with a variety of food vendors.

Tickets are on sale now. Weekend tickets are €169 for a family of four, €49 for adult/child. Saturday tickets are €99 for a family of four and €29 for adult/child. Sunday tickets are €89 for a family of four and €25 for adult/child. Under 3s are free. Friday night camping tickets are also available.
