Get your kids zipping — Young Galway business sells out at Bloom

Galway business Zip-Lines Ireland are going from strength to strength, have picked dup numerous business and innovation awards and driven by their energetic founder Jade Goodfellow, sold out all of their garden zip-lines at the recent ‘Bloom in the Park’ event in Phoenix Park.

It was the first time Zip-Lines Ireland exhibited at the festival and owner Jade Goodfellow says that she is delighted with the interest in the product. By the second day at Bloom, half of the stock was sold.

Wet weather dampened sales the following day, but they picked up again to sell out early Monday.

“We will definitely be back next year” say Ms Goodfellow, stating that the interest in the product was even greater than she had anticipated, so much so that she had to order in an emergency stock of flyers on the second day!

The event comes after Zip-Lines Ireland picked up their second award in the “Micro Business Awards” this April for “Most Creative Website”.

The business is going from strength to strength and the common goal they share with parents, of getting children outdoors and active, contributes to their success.

Zip-Lines Ireland collaborates with numerous other businesses and organisations throughout the country to support and encourage physical health in children and young people.

Businesses and organisations include Trail Kids, Galway Community Circus and Scouting Ireland. Plans for the future are to scale the Zip-line business throughout Ireland and the EU.

Jade is also keen to develop the Slackline side of the business, as there is increased interest in Slacklining here in Ireland in recent years. Don’t know what Slacklining is? Do a quick web search on the Slackline World Cup to see how pros work their lines.
