TODAY FM’s Dermot & Dave have announced a nationwide comedy tour, hitting venues across the country this October, and as part of that, they play the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway.
The pair will bring their Ah Sure Lookit! show to the Black Box Theatre on Thursday October 26 at 8pm. Listeners to The Dermot & Dave Show will be familiar with the weekly ‘Ah Sure Lookit’ feature where Mac from Carlow gives random clues and people are asked to guess what Mac is talking about. Although the comedy show has nothing to do with the feature, the lads just like the name.
So what to expect? Dermot Whelan says: “Imagine a bonkers radio show that grows legs and arms and a head and starts firing out craic and waving its arms like an angry King Kong in that movie. Not even close.” Dave Moore adds: “It’s all our listeners’ favourite characters, stand-up, improvised comedy, music and an interactive gardening segment – what’s not to love?”
