Sinead Lee Hair Design is proud to announce its grand opening will be on June 16th from 5.30pm – 7.30pm.
Sinead and her team wish to extend an open invite to all. There will be lots to look forward to on the night with a Wella Technician from Dublin present to give personalised consultations to anybody who would like to learn what the perfect colour is for their hair and face shape, there will be models from Cat Walk Model Agency in attendance and goody bags will also be given out on the night.
In addition to receiving a goody bag there will be a Special offer in the salon on the night, if you buy any two retail products you will receive a third free! And from now until the night of the opening, if you pop into the salon and buy any retail product you will be entered into a draw to win a hair make over with Sinead. The winner of this will be announced on the night. The whole night can be enjoyed with Prosecco, Wine or Beer accompanied with fabulous canapé’s by Kai restaurant.
The Galway girl behind this opening Sinead Lee has over seventeen years’ experience in the industry, from a young fifteen year old girl looking for summer work after her junior cert, Sinead unknown to herself at the time ended up finding her dream job as she fell in love with hairdressing. When she had to go back to school after the summer, Sinead worked every opportunity she got outside of school, part time in a salon for three years. After doing her Leaving Cert, she continued her apprenticeship and by nineteen, Sinead was a fully qualified hair dresser. But she didn’t stop here…..
At the age of 20, Sinead after entering a competition and coming in the top 13 found herself at a big show in London, this “opened me up more to the creative and fashion side of hairdressing” says Sinead, this led her to move to London and work in a top salon in the West End at the age of 22. While in London, she entered a competition to get on the Artistic team in this salon, open auditions were only held once a year and Sinead successfully won and became part of the Artistic Team.
During her time in London Sinead worked on many big shows such as The Alternative Hair Show in the Royal Albert Hall, London Fashion Week, Hair for Television and Magazine
shoots and after 5 years she decided to move home. She has been back in Galway 6 years but continues to work on two to three shows in the UK annually, as she is a team member in the Sebastian Cult Team. Sinead is the only person in Ireland on the team.
Through all her experience in the industry, Sinead decided to set up her own business and she is very excited to be officially opening her own salon on June 16th, Sinead said “it was always my dream” to open a salon. From two years of planning to opening on 24th February 2017, Sinead is delighted to be open for business now. She is looking forward to growing her business by building her brand, her salon and her team in the coming months and years.
Sinead and her team, Amanda and Vicky put a big focus on client loyalty, they want to give their best to each client’s visit, they focus on client consultations to ensure they understand their clients everyday lifestyle, their affordability, their clients face shape and skin tone, so they can “get the perfect haircut and hair colour. All of their clients receive a relaxing head massage during their treatments, and on Fridays and Saturdays clients can also enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco!!!
