As part of the Bookworms Children’s Literary Festival, Roscommon Arts Centre is hosting a free family show on Saturday, June 10, called ‘The Return of Spring’.
Every year, as part of the festival, the centre offers a small amount of funding to professional theatre makers to create new work for the Bookworms audience through their ‘First Editions’ commission. This year’s recipient is Thomas Johnston.
Thomas has created Return of Spring, which will bring little audience members into the world of Whistleberry Forest, where the creatures that live there look forward to the end of winter and the beginning of spring. But this year spring has come a little early and all the animals except for Huggy the Hedgehog are still asleep. Join Huggy and his friends in the captivating show for children aged three to five.
Tickets are free but booking is required for both the 12pm and the 2pm show as seating is limited. Book now by calling (090 ) 6625824.
