KEVIN MCGAHERN has been called a "gas bastard" by The Rubberbandits and Charlie Brooker said he "made me laugh out loud", and Galway will see why when he plays the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh.
Kevin McGahern plays the Clubh tomorrow at 9pm. He is best known as the host of RTE shows Republic of Telly, Fast & Furious, and America. He is also known for his Youtube hits Felix Bollard: A Serious Man and The Man who Slipped on the Ice. His surrealist and observational humour have also won the Cavan man acclaim as one of Ireland’s top stand-ups. He has played Ireland’s top comedy clubs and festivals, including the Vodafone Comedy Carnival Galway, and toured with the Lads of Comedy.
Support is from the brilliant Áine Gallagher, host of the Róisín's Tuesday comedy showcase, and one of the best multi lingual comedians in Ireland. The special guest is Tom ‘the bear’ O’Mahony. The MC is Steve Bennett.
