DANNY O'BRIEN is “genuinely, uproariously funny, with a huge stage presence and wicked timing” according to The Sunday Independent, while The Examiner called him "a serious young talent in the making".
O’Brien headlines the Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh tomorrow at 9pm. Praised by Giggle Beats as "instantly amiable [with] charm and repartee”, he has toured Australia, is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe, and runs the Comedy Crunch in Dublin. He won the 2013 Tedfest Toilet Duck Award and was a finalist in the RTÉ New Comedy Awards. He also featured on Comedy Central's Brexit at Tiffany’s.
Support is from Donegal’s Ryan Cullen, star of YouTube’s FACTS videos and renowned for his downbeat nature and negative outlook. He was also a writer on RTE's IFTA Award winning Republic Of Telly and Callan's Kicks.
Support is from Oisin Hanlon, described as "a bizarre performer with a unique energy". The MC is Steve Bennett. Tickets are €10 in advance from Róisín Dubh; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and roisindubh.net, or €12.50 at the door.
