Comic brings new show Some People v Reginald D Hunter to Galway in October

HE HAS often been controversial, he has often been provocative, he is always challenging. He is Reginald D Hunter, the comedian who, according to The Times, is always "going for broke, flying in the face of received opinion in a way that is simply exhilarating".

Reginald D Hunter is bringing his new show, Some People v Reginald D Hunter at the Town Hall Theatre on Saturday October 28 as part of his upcoming Irish tour. The American born, British based, comedian's searingly honest material have won over large audiences and reaped critical acclaim. The Telegraph has called him, "stand-up comedy's coolest customer"; while iNewspaper said, "each successive show crackles with anticipatory atmosphere".

He has appeared on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, QI, Have I Got News For You, Argumental, Would I Lie To You, and Live At The Apollo, and hosted the BBC documentary Reginald D Hunter’s Songs Of The South, examining 150 years of American popular song.
