Crowds flock to O’Donnellan & Joyce Wild Atlantic Way summer auction open viewings

ODonnellan & Joyce’s summer auction season is off to a flying start with many of the Galway city and county properties seeing a great turnout at open viewings this week.

O’Donnellan & Joyce has a great selection of owner occupier and first time buyer homes, investment properties, and some holiday homes around Connemara. There is always something in Salthill for the Wild Atlantic Way property auction, and the June 8 auction is no different. No 32 Dalton Drive, a four bed semidetached house, is just on the market and priced at €475,000. In the city, No 9 Canal Road Lower has had a number of viewers turning out on Saturday’s open house as it is keenly priced at €350,000. This three bed end of terrace house overlooks the serene vista of the canal in Galway, always an attraction.

Other properties to note include No 18 Bowling Green, just off Market Street near Saint Nicolas Collegiate Church and around the corner from the very busy Saturday Market. No 18 Bowling Green is a two bed end of terrace house, very centrally located. It needs total refurbishment but it is a little gem right in the heart of the city.

Commercial properties in the city include the premises at No 16 Upper Abbeygate Street, currently let to a beauty salon. The ground floor comprises a retail unit and then first, second, and third floors are set out to beauty therapy rooms. Coming with an advised minimum value of €500,000, the tenant is not affected here.

Full details and viewing times are also available online for all the properties listed for sale in Galway city and county, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Mayo, Offaly, Roscommon, Leitrim, Sligo, Longford, Kilkenny, and Donegal. Managing director and auctioneer, Colm O’Donnellan, said: “There is plenty of variety in this auction to suit investor and first time buyer with all the counties on the Wild Atlantic Way having something for sale.”
