Planning permission is being sought for a major commercial development of 17 retail units in Ballinasloe.
Harte Holdings (Ballinasloe ) Ltd intend to apply for planning permission from the Ballinasloe Town Council for a development at lands north east of River Street, Bridge Street, and Main Street, Ballinasloe.
The proposed development will consist of a mixed use retail/commercial development with a total gross floor area of 8,186sq m
Permission is also sought for an anchor unit with a gross floor area of 4,736sq m. Of that 2,087sq will be supermarket and 1,867sq m for non-food sales with a physical demarcation between the two.
Permission is also sought for 17 retail units including a café/restaurant, management suites, store areas, ancillary retail toilets and services, associated signage, site level changes, and regrading.
The application also seeks permission for a 469 space car park, hard and soft landscaping, vehicular access provision off Bank Road, and ancillary site development works and infrastructure.
An Environmental Impact Statement will accompany the application.
