KATIE O'CONNOR, the Kerry born, Galway based singer-songwriter, will launch her new album, Fuel For Dreaming, and play live at Seven, Bridge Street, this weekend.
Katie has been a prominent figure on Shop Street as a busker, and played on stages and streets throughout Europe and New York City. Since completing a midwifery degree in NUI Galway, She has been adopted as one of Galway's own. As with her previous albums, Fuel For Dreaming contemplates love and relationships, but offers a greater level of introspection. Through just voice and guitar, Katie delves into the realm of uncertainty and vulnerability, touching on religious belief, self-worth, unity, and change.
