The eagerly anticipated new SEAT Ibiza will be showcased at Monaghan & Sons on the Tuam Road from tomorrow (Friday April 28 ) until May 4.
Monaghan & Sons is the first dealer in the country to showcase the new SEAT Ibiza as part of this year’s highly anticipated SEAT Ibiza roadshow.
The new SEAT Ibiza, recently awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award 2017 for product design, will arrive at SEAT dealers across Ireland this June in time for the 172 registration period. Exclusive to Monaghan & Sons, customers who visit the dealership and register their interest for the new Ibiza before May 4 will be entered into a draw to win a holiday to Ibiza.
The Ibiza, which was first launched in 1984, has become an icon of the Spanish brand in all markets. It ranks as SEAT’s top-selling model, with more than 5.4 million units sold globally and more than 30,000 models sold in the Irish market.
Dealer principal Leo Monaghan says Monaghan & Sons is honoured to be the first dealer in the country showcasing the new SEAT Ibiza.
“It is a model we are convinced the people of Galway will instantly fall in love with. I would encourage everyone to get down to the Monaghan & Sons to get a look at the fifth-generation Ibiza for themselves and to be in with a chance to win a holiday to Ibiza.”
The fifth generation of the Ibiza has been developed in Barcelona and is a decisive step forward in the future of the carmaker. It shows key factors including practicality, intelligent technology and connectivity. The new Ibiza has front assist, adaptive cruise control, wireless charger and GSM signal amplifier all available as options. It can also lay claim to having the largest boot of the segment.
In addition, the new Ibiza is 100 per cent connected thanks to three options: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link, demonstrating SEAT’s ambition to become a leader in in-car connectivity and in the development of new mobility solutions. The Ibiza also features Beats sound-system and an eight-inch touchscreen representing SEAT’s committment to infotainment.
The Ibiza is easily recognisable as a genuine SEAT design due to its full LED triangular headlights.
It will be available in a choice of a 1.0 MPI 75hp petrol engine, and 1.0 and 1.5 TSI engines across 75hp, 95hp, 115hp and 150hp. Diesel versions will be available in a 1.6 80hp TDI engine and 1.6 95hp TDI engine. The new Ibiza is available in four trim levels; S, SE, Xcellence and FR.
