Already into week two of its May auction campaign, leading agent DNG Maxwell Heaslip & Leonard is reporting keen interest in a number of lots featuring in its next auction, taking place on May 12 in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Lough Atalia. The appetite for property in Galway remains strong with steady numbers reported at all viewings over the weekend.
“Despite the bank holiday weekend and all the activities taking place in Galway including the Food Festival and Connacht v Leinster rugby match in the Sportsground, people still found time to go and check out our properties on open view,” said auctioneer James Heaslip. “Our May auction once again features properties throughout Galway city and county as well as properties in Sligo, Westport, and Roscommon.”
This will be the local agent’s second auction of 2017 having held its spring auctions in March. Commenting on the March auctions, Heaslip said: “We were delighted with the success of our March auctions. We brought 21 lots to the floor in front of a packed auction room with the majority of properties selling on the auction floor or immediately afterwards – a great start to the year and we hope and expect to repeat this performance on May 12.”
