FEAST - punk, metal, and 'miserable post-hardcore'

Heck, Employed To Serve, and Bailer

A BAND that knows no boundaries between audience and stage, another that just loves guitar riffs, and a third who call themselves "miserable post-hardcore" - play the next FEAST gig.

Heck, Employed To Serve, and Bailer play FEAST in The Loft at Seven, Bridge Street, on Thursday April 27. Headlining are punk band Heck. Inspired by Iggy & The Stooges and Biohazard, they are determined to break down any remnants of a barrier with audiences, and to re-define the limits of a ‘stage’, in order to bring anarchy to the masses. They were nominated for Best Live Band at the 2014 Kerrang! Awards and last year released their critically-acclaimed debut album, Instructions.

Employed To Serve describe themselves as "miserable post-hardcore". Starting out as a two-piece bedroom project, Justine and Sammy released two EPs through Grindcore Karaoke, the label run by Jay from Agoraphobic Nosebleed, before becoming a quintet and releasing the album, The Warmth Of A Dying Sun, described as a "sonic bulldozer guaranteed to flatten you".

Support is from Bailer, a modern hardcore/groove metal band with a taste for big riffs. Doors are 8.30pm. Admission is €14/12.
