Thieves target Ballinakill house

A house which was under renovation at Ballinakill was targeted by thieves last week.

On Wednesday evening (April 5 ) the house at which there was construction ongoing was broken into.

Thieves made away with a number of tools, including a Honda Generator and a Consaw.

Anybody with information is asked to contact Garda Cathal Fitzgerald of Loughrea Garda Station is investigating the matter at 091 841222.

Anne Cassin to hold Brilliant Women tea party for Enable Ireland

TV personality Anne Cassin, will host a special Brilliant Women Tea Party on Sunday May 7 from 3pm at The Ardilaun Hotel in Galway. The event is being organised to celebrate women who excel and create positive change in their chosen fields, with all proceeds supporting the work of Enable Ireland Galway services.

Enable Ireland Galway provide services and supports to 700 children and families in the county.
