CHRISTY MOORE is coming back to Galway to play the Black Box Theatre on Friday May 8 and this month he will release his new single ‘The Ballad of Ruby Walsh’.
“Ruby Walsh saved my bacon below at the Galway. When he crowned my treble in Ballybrit I vowed to sing a song for him,” said Christy. “Some time ago I was sweating on a treble in Ballybrit and Ruby did not let me down. The least I could do was sing a song for my fellow lillywhite.”
‘The Ballad of Ruby Walsh’ will be available for download from iTunes on Friday March 20. It will be the first single from Christy’s forthcoming album Listen, due out on Friday April 17.
