Snoozles is one of Galway’s most popular hostels, located on Forster Street in Galway’s East Village, right beside the city coach station, and a two minute walk to Eyre Square.
With accommodation ranging from 10 bed dorms to private double rooms which are all ensuite. Welcoming all tourist business in Galway from sports groups, hens and stag parties, students, to just people coming to Galway for a night away wanting to be in the middle of the action.
Snoozles Manager, Christine Shine has been introducing new changes to maximize guest experience within the hostel.
Speaking about Snoozles, Christine commented ‘’Snoozles Tourist Hostel has everything for people travelling to Galway, there is always a great buzz in the city, and we have a knowledgeable and fun team working with us to guide guests on whats happening and places to visit’’
“Following recent refurbishments within Snoozles, we felt there was a design opportunity to do something different and unique in our hostel, and we started on the walls deciding to team up with established local artist Shane O’Malley, his vision in this project was a perfect match, we are delighted with the result of large scale wall murals which incorporate the world and travel in a colorful abstract art format’’
“We are also introducing open mic nights, tapas evenings, pizza and movie nights for our guests, everyone gets together in the evening, meeting new people and making new friends.
“When the sun shines in Galway, our large outdoor garden is full of life, with our BBQ on and music playing, it’s a great start to the day and night for everyone,” she said, adding that artist Shane O’Malley has an upcoming exhibition in Coffeewerk in May —
