MARY BLACK, one of Ireland's finest and best loved singers, makes a welcome return to Galway this month, when she plays the Town Hall Theatre as part of her 2017 Irish Tour.
Mary plays on Thursday April 20 at 8pm. “I’m thrilled to be coming back to Galway," she said. "The Town Hall is one of my favourites, a stunning, intimate venue and it’s great to be so close to the audience. It has been a busy few months and we’ve been busy in studio re-mixing and remastering the By The Time It Gets Dark album, on the 30th Anniversary of its release.”
The singer will be joined by Bill Shanley (guitar ), Pat Crowley (piano and accordion ), Nick Scott (double bass ), and Richie Buckley (saxaphone ). Support is from Maryt's daughter, the singer-songwriter Roisin O, for the extra-special Galway concert.
Tickets are available from the Town Hall 9091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ). See also www.mary-black.net
