IRANIAN FILM, The Salesman, exploring the moral questions facing a married couple, following a sudden violent act at the apartment they are temporarily living in, closes the current Galway Film Society season.
The film, which will be screened in the Town Hall Theatre this Sunday at 8pm, centres on young acting-couple Rana and Emad, and what happens to them once they move into a new apartment with a very murky history. The film won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film 2017, and Best Screenplay and Best Actor at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival.
