Kevin 'Bloody' Wilson - back from retirement

Wilson's second of Final Farewell Tour comes to the Black Box Theatre on April 8

KEVIN 'BLOODY' Wilson retired in 2012 after bringing his unique brand of Aussie humour to the world for more than quarter of a decade. Five years later, Kev realised retirement was a bit boring, so he has hit the road once more.

Wilson's second of the Final Farewell Tours is coming to the Black Box Theatre on Saturday April 8 at 8pm. The show will feature the best, and best loved songs and comedy, from his 20+ albums. A night of irreverent, bawdy, politically incorrect humour is to be expected.

Described by Billy Connolly as "the world’s funniest Australian", Wilson is best known for 'Hey Santa Claus' ("Hey Santa Claus you ****, where's me ******' bike?" ) and 'Living Next Door To Alan'. He began performing his songs around his native Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, eventually getting his wife Betty and children, Travis and TJ, into helping him prepare and sell cassettes of his songs. After selling 87 of his initial batch of 100 cassettes within a week, he realised he was onto something and decided to take his show on the road. In the years since, he has sold four million albums, and earned fans across the globe.

The special guest is Jenny Talia. Tickets are available from the Town Hall Theatre (091 - 569777, www.tht.ie ).
