Caprice Nominated for Six Restaurant Awards

Galway eatery, Caprice Cafe, has wowed Galwegians and visitors with its delicious dishes and beautiful interior since July last year and now it’s nominated in six categories for the Restaurants Association of Ireland, regional final of the Irish Restaurant Awards 2017.

Caprice is nominated for: Best Chef, Best Cafe, Best Casual Dining, Best Kids Size Me, Best Newcomer and Best Restaurant.

Located at the corner of Church Lane and Market Street, Caprice Cafe has unrivalled views of both St. Nicholas’ Church and the Galway Cathedral. But the highlight of your visit has to be the food, from breakfast through to dinner.

Caprice is a dream come true for owners Vicky and John Casey, after years running John’s local family business, KC Blake’s Brasserie, with his father Bernie Casey.

Speaking at the regional announcement of the award nominations, Vicky said: “We are thrilled to be nominated for the regional final of this year’s awards and in so many categories. It’s a credit to the great team at Caprice and our customers for all their support.”

The Connaught Regional Awards take place on 28th March at the Radisson Blu hotel & Spa, Sligo with the All Ireland Final on May 8th.
