Two colourful characters from street spectacle Artastic took a break from parade rehearsals to announce Renault Ireland as the official car partner of St Patrick’s Festival.
More than 3,000 artists, musicians, dancers and poets will take part in this year's St Patrick's festivities with more than 100,000 overseas visitors expected to attend some 30 events from March 16 to 19.
'Ireland You Are…' is the theme for the 2017 parade, which will weave its way through the heart of the capital in a flourish of colour and flair with seven green Renault Kadjars in tow. Bands from Ireland will be joined by bands from America, France, Germany, Switzerland and the Bahamas and will deliver uplifting rhythms for the spectacular procession punctuated by breathtaking street-theatre performances with fantastical pageantry and raucous performances.
Renault Ireland, as the official car partner, will provide eight Renault Kadjars and three Renault Master vans for use in both the parade and official St Patrick’s Festival duties.
Karla Clifford, brand communications manager of Renault Ireland, is delighted to see the Renault Kadjar line up as part of the St Patrick’s Festival parade this year. "The adventurous nature of the Kadjar perfectly suits the spirit of the parade and we look forward to seeing the fleet of Kadjars in action during the festival next week,” she says.
