Talented Galway singer Clare Quinn (16 ) from Renmore has been named the winner by the American Fine Arts Festival in the “Golden Voice of America” – a prestigous International Vocal Competition, which invited entries from all over the World.
This is Clare’s fourth international vocal award in the past year and as part of her award, Clare will be performing at the Robert Schumann Museum in Zwickau in Germany in August this year .
She will also be part of the American Fine Arts Festival Tour, with concerts in Germany, Austria and Italy this Summer.
Clare, who is a student at The Dominican Convent, Taylors Hill says that she is delighted to have won the Award and is looking forward to performing in Germany, Austria, and especially Italy in the Summer.
Clare is no stranger to music awards, having performed to much acclaim in the world-renowned venue of Carnegie Hall, New York, after winning first place and a Judge’s Distinction from the American Protégé International Talent Competition last year.
Clare has also been invited back to Carnegie Hall in July for a special Recital, where she has been chosen to perform Tomaso Albinoni’s “Adagio”
