DUBLIN ALTERNATIVE rock band, The Stoles, who "have a Black Keys vibe going on, but with maybe more of an emphasis on heavy rock than blues" according to TXFM, will play Galway.
The trio "make an impressively complex noise...funnelling a broad range of influences into an alternative rock template," said Muso’s Guide. However Zoë Farrell, in Musicwand Ireland, admitted, "I can’t compare The Stoles to anyone else out there right now which is a good thing, they’re unique in what they’re offering."
Galway will be able to judge for itself when The Stoles play Monroe's BackStage Bar on Friday March 10 at 8pm. The band release their debut album, Age Of Deception, later this year on the Spectra label.
Tickets are €6. See www.monroes.ie
