Kathy Ross's street scenes of Galway

Exhibition currently running in Tuam. Artist plans new exhibition for Galway city

SOME OF Galway's best known street scenes are depicted by Galway artist Kathy Ross in an exhibition currently running in the Leaf and Bean Café in Tuam.

The exhibition features Ross's paintings of the Claddagh, Long Walk, Galway's West End, and Quay street, as well as wildlife studies inspired by rural Galway. The show will run throughout February and March.

Ross is currently working on a new collection entitled Timeless, exploring ideas of beauty found in the most remote of places, such as derelict houses reclaimed by nature. Timeless will be displayed in Tuam in July, before being exhibited in the Town Hall Theatre bar.
