THE THREE Tenors, whose concerts have been called "fabulous, high-calibre...soulful" by the Sunday Independent, and a "knockout’’ by the New York Times, return to Galway this month.
The Three Tenors - Derek Moloney, Dominic McGorian, and Shane Morgan - return to the Town Hall Theatre on Saturday February 25 at 8pm where they will perform a range of classic songs, including those by Sinatra, The Dubliners, Pavarotti, as well 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow'. The special guest will be Galway's award winning teenage soprano, Aimee Banks.
Last year the trio was selected by Government to headline 1916 Centenary State Reception in Dublin Castle, on Easter Sunday, performing to a crowd of 3,000. They were also the only group selected to perform at the opening of the 50th International Eucharistic Congress in the RDS and in Croke Park in 2012. They were also the headline act for the sell-out European premiere for the film Lincoln in 2013.
Tickets are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 or www.tht.ie
