A man in his forties has been charged with a number of offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act following the discovery of a cannabis grow house operation in Corr na Mona.
Clifton Collins (45 ) was charged at Bray District Court yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí from Clifden Garda Station searched an address at Farnaght, Corr na Mona, on Tuesday after Collins’ car was stopped in the Sally Gap in Wicklow the previous evening. The Garda Divisional Drugs Unit was called in to investigate when a large number of suspected cannabis plants were found growing on the property.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Bray District Court again on February 14.
