Roesy - two Galway shows

Singer-songwriter to play The King's Head and Claregalway Castle

ROESY, THE Australian based Irish singer-songwriter is bringing his The Very Round Robin tour across Ireland, playing shows where he will be joined by Kilá's Rónán Ó Snodaigh and Ye Vagabonds.

Roesy will play two shows in Galway - The Ruby Room, The King's Head, on Friday February 17, and Claregalway Castle on Saturday 18. Audiences can expect to hear old favourites and new material being recorded for release later this year.

The singer has enjoyed critical acclaim with The Irish Times saying he is, "armed with a crystalline pair of vocal chords"; and Golden Plec said his "songwriting is of a consistently high standard, while his vocals are powerful and the arrangements are executed wonderfully”. Roesy has supported Bert Jansch, Ron Sexsmith, Paul Brady, Billy Bragg, John Martyn, Joan Armatrading, Donovan, and Shane MacGowan.
