Have you entered Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh yet?

Gaillimh le Gaeilge is calling on businesses and organisations to seize the opportunity and put their names forward for Gradam 2017. Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh in association with the Galway Advertiser and with support from the Galway Chamber is now open for nominations.

This year’s awards will be the pinnacle of Gaillimh le Gaeilge’s celebration of 30 years in business! The Mayor of the City of Galway, Cllr. Noel Larkin officially launched Gradam Sheosaimh Uí Ógartaigh and welcomed the sponsors for Gradam 2017 at a press event in the PorterShed recently. The Gradam will offer you and your business a great opportunity to raise your profile and win an amazing array of prizes and benefits valued at over €23,000, sponsored by local and national businesses.

Foireann Ghaillimh le Gaeilge will help you every step of the way free of charge. The use of the Irish language strengthens Galway’s uniqueness and cultural appeal. Take part in the Gradam by putting it centre stage as we look forward to our year as the European Capital of Culture in 2020.

The Gradam is now open to companies and organisations of all sizes and sectors based in Galway city that are not primarily involved with the promotion of the Irish language and not subject to the Official Languages Act.

It is not essential to be a fluent Irish speaker to participate in the Gradam and Gaillimh le Gaeilge will guide you every step of the way free of charge. So what are you waiting for? Log onto www.gleg.ie to enter online or contact 091 568876. You can also nominate a business/organisation to enter the Gradam. The closing date for entries is Monday the 13th of February 2017. Ag súil le cloisteáil uaibh!
