PINK FLOYD, the visionary English rock adventurers whose explorations of rock, jazz, folk, prog, psychedelia, and avant garde have inspired Radiohead, Aphex Twin, The Orb, and much of the Krautrock scene, will be celebrated in Galway.
Pink Floyd tribute band Breathe are coming to Galway to present their new show, Welcome To The Machine - The Very Best of Pink Floyd - LIVE, in Seapoint Ballroom, Salthill, on Saturday February 18 at 8pm.
In this two-hour show, the eight-piece band will play music from across Floyd's career, and fans can expect selections from Dark Side Of The Moon, Wish You Were Here, and The Wall. They endeavour to recreate the sound and soundscape of Pink Floyd’s legendary live shows, with Floydian visuals, and state-of-the art sound, and lighting. They also won acclaim for their recent performances of Dark Side Of The Moon in Vicar Street and the Cork Opera House.
