PoppySeed Gourmet Cafés has launched a new Grab and Go lunch box range now available from its city centre branch in Eyre Street.
The team at PoppySeed has developed five different salads for the new Grab and Go lunch box range. The lunches will vary daily and will feature vegetarian and vegan options. The lunchbox choices include wholesome salads such as sweet potato, broccoli, and lentils with greens; spiced egg noodle with chilli beef; grilled Cajun chicken and buckwheat; Galway goat cheese with couscous; and beetroot hummus, roasted vegetables, and quinoa.
The lunch box salad range is focused on healthy and tasty light lunches. Menus will be changed on a seasonal basis. Prices run from €4.95 to €5.50. There are also lots of extras to add to your lunch, from a cup of homemade soup to handmade scones, as well as gluten free and speciality breads. You build your lunch around your preferences.
Other items in this new healthy Grab and Go PoppySeed range from the Eyre Street branch are a granola and yogurt cup with nuts and seeds; a fruit cup with yogurt; cold pressed juices by Galway-based Juicy Lucy; and more health-conscious snacks and treats by another local food producer, Healthy Treats Kitchen, which include energy balls, gluten free truffles, and nut clusters, all of which are sugar free.
PoppySeed Gourmet Café is located at 24 Eyre Street, Galway. It is open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday.
