MSC has announced plans to launch 10 new cruise ships in the next 10 years, featuring extraordinary new-era design with innovative technology and spectacular entertainment options.
MSC Meraviglia , launching this June, is a sophisticated combination of state-of-the-art-technology, a love of the sea, design, comfort, and practicality. The stunning new ship will be able to dock at any cruise port around the world, expanding your choice of itineraries and destinations. With two covered promenades, expanded outside areas, and fun water parks, MSC Meraviglia will offer a wealth of entertainment areas. The ceiling of the inside promenade will be covered with a giant 480sq m LED screen — a digital sky capable of transmitting vistas, events, sunrises, sunsets, and the starry skies at night. She will operate seven night Mediterranean itineraries from Barcelona from June to March 2018.
MSC Seaside, launching this December, will lead the way for a new generation of MSC cruise ships with revolutionary architecture and cutting-edge technology. MSC Seaside will bring guests closer to the sea with connecting inside and outside public spaces and a unique waterfront promenade that wraps right around the 323-metre ship, offering a panoply of places to shop, eat, and sunbathe, while panoramic lifts provide breathtaking sea views.
In addition, MSC Seaside will offer one of the largest and most interactive aquaparks at sea. She will be the first cruise ship to feature slideboarding technology, combining a slide and an interactive game that is the cutting edge of water park technology, ensuring unrivalled fun for all ages. She will homeport in Miami operating around the Caribbean.
MSC Seaview is the second of two identical ships in the Seaside generation launching May 2018. Inspired by a pioneering beach condo concept, MSC Seaview will bring guests and the sea closer, with special design elements that make the most of the warmer weather. She will spend the summer of 2018 sailing from Barcelona.
