A city adult counselling service has been allocated funding of €97,200.
Galway West Fianna Fail TD Frank Fahey confirmed that the money for Pro Consult will be administered by the Family Support Agency.
“It is more important now than ever that supports are in place for families who may be encountering tough times,” he said.
“Economic instability can cause considerable stress among families and this funding will help Pro Consult continue to provide a quality service in Galway city.”
