This Friday January 6th is Nollaig Na mBan or Women's Little Christmas and to celebrate the Herstory programme, 56 Central have teamed up with the Herstory project to celebrate the event and from 6pm will play host to a celebration of life -
Entitled -
"I've Never Heard of Her?”
Illuminate Herstory is a new light projection supported by Galway City Council, and will be holding a free event in Shop Street at 5:30pm first to illuminate the walls of Shop Street with images to celebrate women and girls, illuminating the country with images of women when the Christmas lights go out over the weekend of Nollaig na mBan (Women's Little Christmas ) on the 5 - 8th January 2017.
56 Central have commission the talented The Spontaneous Theatre Company who will put on a live show re enacting the lives of the past women of Ireland in 56 Central
Enjoy gourmet nibbles from the kitchen at 56 Central and a glass of wine on arrival.
