A NEW choir is starting in Galway and is looking for members. It will be open to teachers and those associated with the primary, secondary, further, and higher education sectors.
The choir will meet on Tuesday evenings weekly and will start on January 10 at 7.30pm at a city centre venue. Choir practices will be 90 minutes. The Teachers' Choir will work towards a first performance at the annual ChoirFactor competition which will be held on Saturday March 15 in the city.
The choir will focus on a mix of music styles from classical to popular music and will be directed by Peter Mannion. Those interested in more information should email [email protected].
