Are you thinking of selling in 2017?

As we approach another new year, Galway city estate agent Mullery auctioneers is actively seeking properties for sale throughout the city and county to meet exceptionally strong demand.

According to Mike Mullery of Mullery auctioneers the company experienced a huge amount of activity in 2016 and has achieved consistently strong prices for properties in both the city and county. “We sold a substantial number of properties in 2016 and all segments of the market are performing extremely well including residential investment properties, first time buyer homes, and homes at the middle and upper end of the market.”

Mike Mullery notes that apartment sales and demand for apartments has improved dramatically in 2016 driven by investor demand, owner occupiers, and overseas buyers.

Starter type homes such as three and four bedroom semidetached homes are, as always, hugely popular and there is a chronic shortage of good quality semidetached homes in the city. Mullery auctioneers has achieved exceptional prices for semidetached homes, including €300,000 for a three bedroom semi-detached residence in Knocknacarra.

The agent has also sold numerous properties in Salthill with very strong prices being achieved.

Properties outside the city have also seen a significant improvement in demand and price. The agent sold properties in Oranmore, Claregalway, Corrandulla, Carnmore, Bushypark, Corcullen, Tuam, Spiddal, and Clarinbridge. Mullery auctioneers achieved very strong prices for large family homes outside the city. Several properties were sold for well in excess of the guide prices, with one house achieving €100,000 more that the guide price, one achieving over €50,000 above the guide, and one achieving almost €50,000 above the guide.

Mullery auctioneers is actively seeking properties for sale as we enter what is the busiest time of the year for the property market. The agent offers a professional, efficient, and personal service, with all clients dealing with one of the directors of the company from start to finish. All viewings, negotiations, and all aspects of the sale and marketing are handled by a director of the company.

“This personal service ensures our clients receive the very best service and advice as well as years of experience,” said Mike Mullery. “With every property, we put a huge emphasis on the marketing and promotion of the property to ensure our clients’ properties stand out from the crowd. We use a professional photographer and print high quality property brochures. We advertise on all the main property websites including daft.ie, myhome.ie, and property.ie, as well as in the newspapers. We have found that a professional marketing campaign undoubtedly results in more interest in the property.”

“We would be delighted to meet anyone who may be considering selling their property and I guarantee an exceptional level of service and professionalism as well as a proven track record for achieving excellent results.”
