The Irish annual meeting of all Best Western hotels in Ireland was held in Best Western Flannery's Hotel in Galway last week when the host hotel was named the Best of the Best in terms of quality and customer service.
The meeting featured presentations from Ireland's country manager, Robert Walsh and Wes McKeage, director of international system services from the United States. Also invited guest speakers Alex Gibson from HSMAI discussed trends and outlook for hotels and Austin Hickey from BDO Simpson Xavier discussed Operating in Economic Difficulties.
The presentation from Neville Graham, director of international member services, focused on guest satisfaction, a key component in Best Western’s global strategy to lead the industry in superior customer care.
Best Western Ireland was pleased to announce the winner of the Highest Quality Hotel Award for 2008. The “Best of the Best” is presented within the brand on an annual basis, as recognition of achieving the highest score in Best Western’s independently adjudicated quality assurance assessments.
Accepting the award this year on behalf of theBest Western Flannery's Hotel was Siobhan Farragher, general manager.
