See Chris Kent @ Róisín Dubh Comedy Clubh

CHRIS KENT, who has appeared on Russell Howard's Stand Up Central, and who "breathes new life into anecdotal comedy" according to The List, is the next comic to play the Róisín Dubh Comedy Club.

Corkonian Chris will bring his distinctive dry and laconic style of storytelling to the Dominick Street venue's upstairs bar tomorrow from 9pm. Voted in the Top Five Irish Comedians by Hot Press in 2013, he has shared the stage with Bill Burr, Dylan Moran and David O’Doherty. A true natural, Chris keeps audiences hanging on his every word with stories filled with twists, turns, and giggles, and all in a steady Cork drawl to hold it in place.

Also on the bill is Aidan Greene; a multi award-winning comedian and storyteller. He is a regular across all Ireland's top comedy clubs and festivals. He also enjoyed a recent and successful run in Edinburgh with his show (500 ) Days of Stammer.

Support is from Billy Anderson. The MC is Irish Comedian of the Year 2016, Steve Bennett. Advance tickets are €8 from the Róisín Dubh; OMG@Zhivago, Shop Street; and roisindubh.net; or €10 on the door.
