ADVANCED FICTION writing classes with the poet and short story writer Susan Millar DuMars have been announed for the New Year, but bookings are already being taken.
The classes take place on Wednesdays, from 7pm to 9pm, starting February 1. The maximum number of students is five. The class is for those serious about writing short or long fiction. The class is €140 for eight weeks and is payable in advance. There are no refunds. Classes take place at No 3 Carbry Road, Newcastle, close to NUI Galway.
Susan is the author of the poetry collections Big Pink Umbrella (2008 ), Dreams for Breakfast (2010 ), The God Thing (2013 ), and Bone Fire (2016 ) all published by Salmon, as well as the short story collections, American Girls (2007 ) and Lights in the Distance (2010 ).
