GE-OLOGY, THE producer, DJ, and gifted visual artist, who has worked with Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Jill Scott, De La Soul, and a young Tupac Shakur, is coming to the Electric Garden and Theatre for the next Shivers night.
Born in Baltimore, he began collecting records from the age of five, playing instruments from age nine, and DJing since he was 11. He moved to New York in the 1980s, where he became a hip hop producer, and since the noughties has been releasing his own music. His 2015 track, 'Moon Circuitry', featuring Mark de Clive-Lowe, became a smash in the underground dance music scene.
His DJing style is personal, intimate and risky, incorporating records not normally selected by DJs and he travels across continents in search of new sounds to incorporate into his sets and bring dance floors to life.
GE-OLOGY plays Shivers at Electric tomorrow. Doors are at 10pm. Admission is free until 11pm; €5 between 111pm and midnight, and €8 after midnight.
