LVX: Ten Years of Light and Darkness to raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières

GALWAY MUSICIANS A Lilac Decline and Phantom Dog Beneath The Moon, who are both on the independent Galway record label Rusted Rail, feature on a new album which will raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières.

The album, entitled LVX: Ten Years of Light and Darkness, is released by Evening of Light, an online magazine, record label, and radio show, based in Antwerp, Belgium, and which is marking its 10th anniversary.

The two Galway-based acts appear alongside other artists from the European folk underground. The 26-track collection also features downloadable photography, poetry, and artworks. All benefits of this compilation will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières, which brings aid to victims of war, poverty, and disaster across the world.

Both A Lilac Decline (the solo project of Cecilia Danell from fellow Rusted Rail acts Cubs and Loner Deluxe ) and Phantom Dog Beneath The Moon will release albums on Rusted Rail in 2017 with a track apiece from these artists forthcoming releases featured on the LVX... compilation.
