KATE SIMKO, the Chicago DJ and electronic and house producer, will bring the underground sounds of Chicago to its sister city of Galway when the Heineken Sound Atlas Chicago event hits Electric.
Chicago is the birthplace of house music, and Kate has been declared one of Chicago’s Top 10 DJs by XLR8R Magazine. She also holds a residency in Chicago’s Smartbar, hailed as the epicentre of the city’s house music scene. Kate has also played Bestival, the iTunes Festival, and recently sold out London's Royal Albert Hall. She is acclaimed for her shows which feature interactive audio-visual live sets and cutting edge mixes.
