OUT OF The Whirlwind, the new DVD from Tommy Tiernan, capturing the Irish comic's Edinburgh Comedy Festival 2016 show, will be released on DVD on Friday November 18.
Navan born, Galway based Tommy has performed Out Of The Whirlwind in Ireland, Britain, Moscow, Paris, Vancouver, and Perth, with the show for thsi DVD release being filmed at The Gilded Balloon in the Scottish capital.
Mannerless, dark and silly, Tommy's performance mesmerises in a way that is joyful, uplifting, inspirational, and always breathtakingly funny, a display The Guardian said possessed "emphatic comic power". Out Of The Whirlwind will be available physically in Galway in Lidl, Supervalu, and Easons; online via Ebuzz.ie, and as a download from iTunes.
This Thursday sees Tommy undertake his new Irish tour, performing his new show, Under The Influence. As well as dates in County Cork, Limerick, Claremorris, Wexford, Portlaoise, Kerry, and a run in Vicar Street in January. Tommy will also play two shows in Galway, in Seapoint Ballroom, Salthill, on Wednesday December 21 and 22.
