THE HALLOWEEN Bank Holiday Weekend at Electric begins tomorrow with the launch of new clubnight, MOVE, the brain child of DJ and producer John Daly.
John's ability to mix house and techno in a funky way has earned him shows at clubbing institutions like Panorama Bar in Berlin, Deep Space in NYC, Concrete in Paris, and Fabric in London. MOVE takes place on the Electric mainfloor. Graham Dolan will spin funk, soul, hip hop, and disco on the Garden dancefloor.
Saturday will see UFO Club/Wah Wah Club in the Garden, Jericho in Factory, and James Hannon on the main floor.
On Sunday Electric hosts Horse Meat Disco, the club collective of James Hillard, Jim Stanton, Filthy Luka, and Severino. Over a decade on the circuit, Horse Meat Disco is probably the most important disco club night in the world and its mixtapes and DJ sets range from classic to cosmic to deep disco, Italo, punk-funk, house, techno, and rare oddities.
