THE ROCKY HORROR SKEFF SHOW

We are going all out for our Halloween Show this year at The Skeff and if you like horror then we are going to rock it like it’s going out of fashion on Saturday night 29th October. We are giving away a €250 Skeff Golden ticket to the best dressed on the night. We also dare you to try our deadly cocktails – Bloody Bloody Mary, Terror Tonic, Dacquiri of Doom, Underworld or the The Rocky Horror. Move your zombie-body to our terror classics with DJ Dave from 8pm-2am. Dare to be scared this Halloween.

GALWAY ABOO FESTIVAL

The Galway Aboo Halloween Festival takes place in the medieval streets of Galway’s Latin Quarter from Friday 28th to Monday 31st of October 2016. It is the country’s largest Halloween Festival and plays host to a number of activities and free events so promises to be a superb weekend for all ages.

Do not miss the world-famous Macnas Parade through the street’s of Galway.

Times: 4:45 – 6:45pm on Saturday, Beginning at Fisheries Field, down Eglinton Street and Shop Street, through the Latin Quarter and finishing at Dominick Street Upper at 6.30p.m.

VODAFONE COMEDY CARNIVAL

The Vodafone Comedy Carnival brings the funniest names West over seven days: 25th – 31st October 2016. Launched in 2005 it’s now one of the best comedy events in the country. Gracing the comedic stages this year are more than 20 top names including local Tommy Tiernan, Rubberbandits, Al Porter, Dermot and Dave of Today FM fame, Bernard O’Shea, Deirdre O’Kane, Karl Spain, Sofie Hagen, The Nualas, Phil Kay and more!

GALWAY RACES

The October Racing Festival takes place in Galway over the bank holiday weekend in October. It feels so long since the summer festival so get your winter woolies out and take advantage of free car parking, free entry for children under 14, free race-card draw each day, the big screen, Tote, On course bookmakers, bar and restaurant facilities and music by the Guinness Jazz Band. Tickets for adults cost €15.

CARNEVIL – AN EXORCISE IN FEAR

Carnevil is dubbed as “the west of Ireland’s first scare attraction”, located in the haunted former Connacht Tribune printing press on Market Street. Carnevil runs until midnight on Halloween night. The opening times are 7pm to 10pm (October 12-16, 20-21 ); 6pm to 10pm (October 22-27 ); 4pm to 11pm (October 28-31 ). The event is strictly over 16s.
