Rory Gallagher tribute at Róisín Dubh

Sinnerboy to play the music of Irish blues legend at Róisín Dubh

RORY GALLAGHER, possibly the greatest guitarist, and certainly the greatest bluesman, to ever emerge from Ireland, died in 1995, and next week Galway will celebrate both the man and his music.

The acclaimed Rory Gallagher tribute act Sinnerboy - Barry Barnes (vocals/guitar ), Bri Chambers (bass ), and Steve Richardson (drums ) - is bringing its 21st Anniversary Rory Gallagher Tribute Tour to the Róisín Dubh on Sunday October 23 at 8pm.

The band will play music from across Rory's career, and as ever, play it with passion and reverence, and they have won a estimable reputation as a live act. As Barry has said: “I may have driven all day, humped amps up stairs and feel completely shattered, but as soon as I plug in my Strat, hit the first chord and see the smiles on people's faces the weariness falls away.”

Tickets are available at www.roisindubh.net, the Ticket Desk at OMG Zhivago, Shop Street, and The Róisín Dubh.
