Merit Medical Ireland, based in Parkmore Galway, will hold a ‘Networking within Industry’ event Thursday, October 20th at 5.30pm in their Vision Facility, Galway.
The event will be in partnership with Engineers Ireland. With over 23,000 members from every discipline of engineering, Engineers Ireland is the voice of the engineering profession in Ireland. They have been representing the engineering profession since 1835, making them one of the oldest and largest professional bodies in Ireland.
This event will include a presentation by guest speaker, Professor Laoise McNamara, a Professor of Biomedical Engineering in the College of Engineering and Informatics at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Prof. McNamara will deliver a presentation on ‘Mechanobiology Research for Medical Device applications’.
This event will provide a great Networking within Industry opportunity and is also an opportunity to learn more about Merit Medical and its journey in being part of Irish industry and a supporter of the local Galway economy.
