THE ART Supper Club is a new venture which combines the joy of creativity with the pleasure of enjoying good food, and follows on from the popular 'painting, cocktail, and wine' events hosted by Paintclub and 56 Central.
Each Art Supper Club will involve classes where participants will create an artwork, with step by step instruction and all materials provided, followed by a buffet dinner in 56 Central.
Paintclub is the brainchild of Galway artist Aisling Kearney Burke, who has been running events in local bars and restaurants for the past year. As with all Paintclub events, no experience is necessary, and all levels are welcome. "Our Art Supper Clubs are designed for everyone to relax, have fun, eat amazing food and create a masterpiece to bring home at the end of the night," says Aisling.
The first Art Supper Club will takes place on Friday [October 14] in 56 Central, Shop Street, where participants will work with pen and watercolour to produce pieces in the Zentangle style (see photo below ). Tickets are €45 and are available via www.paintclub.ie
