HAILED AS “the future of ska in Ireland” by Ryan Tubridy, Interskalactic have firmly marked their place as a live and festival favourite, fusing big band flavour and first-wave, old-school Jamaican ska.
Interskalactic's upbeat set features covers from classic ska artists including The Skatalites, Byron Lee & the Dragonaires, and the late, very great, Prince Buster, combined with ska-ified versions of popular hits, and original compositions - some of which are due for release later this year.
Interskalactic play Monroe’s Live on Friday October 21 at 11pm. Tickets are €10/8 via www.monroes.ie
